Yorkie Dental Care: Diet and Small-Dog Prevention

For a Yorkie, dental care is an everyday habit to build with your veterinary team. This guide focuses on the small-dog questions that can get lost in a food discussion: starting home care, checking developing teeth, noticing changes and keeping the prevention plan practical.

Start prevention early

Build a comfortable brushing routine

Ask your veterinary team to demonstrate home brushing and help you work toward a daily routine your Yorkie can tolerate.
